CIS College Group of Institutes (“CIS College”, “we”, “us”) operates ciscollege.edu.lb and branches across Lebanon. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
- Forms you submit: when you enroll in a training course, apply to a vocational program, or contact us, we collect the details you enter: name, contact details, date of birth, nationality, academic background, and your course or program choices.
- Accounts: if you create an account, we store your login email and your enrollment and order history.
- Payments: we keep records of your orders and payment status. We do not store card numbers; online card payments are processed by our payment provider, and branch payments are recorded against your registration.
- Messages: if you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we keep the conversation history needed to follow up on your request.
- Technical data: basic usage data and cookies needed for the website to function and for us to understand how it is used.
How we use it
- To process your enrollment or application and contact you about it.
- To deliver courses, issue certificates, and complete official registration with the relevant Lebanese authorities where applicable.
- To answer your questions and send you information you asked for.
- To improve our website and services.
Advertising measurement
We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. To understand which adverts lead to real enrollments, this website uses the Meta pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. When you submit a form, we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of the details you entered, such as your email address, phone number and name, together with your device’s IP address and browser type. Meta uses this only to match the action to an advert you may have seen and to report results back to us. We do not send Meta your details in readable form, and we never send your academic information, documents or payment details.
You can control how Meta uses your information in the Ads settings of your Facebook or Instagram account. Blocking cookies in your browser also stops the pixel from loading. CIS College staff browsing the site are excluded from this measurement.
Website analytics
We keep our own record of how the website is used: which pages and courses are viewed, what is searched for, and which buttons are tapped. This record uses a random identifier stored in your browser. It is not linked to your name, email address or phone number, it is not shared with anyone, and we delete it after 12 months. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled by CIS College admissions and administration staff. We share it only with: official bodies when required for certification, and service providers that run our website, forms, and payment processing, and the advertising platforms described above. We never sell personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as possible.
